Yearly Wellness exams for dogs and cats
At the Austin Veterinary Clinic, we care about the health of your pet. Yearly wellness exams are the key to early detection of existing health problems and prevention of new problems.
For your convenience, we send reminders through email, texts or in the mail, when your pet is due for a checkup.
Wellness visits include:
- A physical exam of your pet for any signs of illness or chronic disease condition. Problems that are detected early often are easier to treat and have a better chance of a successful recovery.
- Administration of any vaccinations that are needed to keep your pet healthy.
- Discussion of any other concerns, including weight control programs, behavior problems, allergy problems, parasite problems, and many others.
- Evaluation of heartworm status and control.
